I broke down on the side of the road with a busted radiator hose, Was able to partially repair it long enough to get me to 7 miles to Meads auto which was approaching closing time. The owner was kind enough to order the part we needed from a Ford dealership get it delivered and repair my truck even after hours on a holiday week. Brought my truck to the dealership for a noise coming from the rear end only to be told it doesn't have an issue mind you the truck only has 13,000 miles on it. Took it to Meads and they found the problem in no time. Apparently Ram is trying to experiment with oil less rear differentials and mine didn't pass the test. I was driving to Dequincy from New Orleans. When I got to Sulphur, my tire light came on. Thankfully Mead's was nearby because my tire needed to be patched. During a road trip from Houston TX to Orlando FL my water pump busted and had me stranded at a gas station near Sulphur. I called Meads because they had the best reviews and lucky for me the reviews were right! Rich took great care of us from the very beginning. I had my truck towed to their shop, Rich found the pump, they're team installed it and had me out of there in no time. Thanks to them, we made it to Orlando that same night. I can't say enough about our experience here. My husband and I blew a tire on our way back to TN, and Meads was the closest place for a tire replacement. James and the entire crew went above and beyond to get us squared away as quickly as possible (even driving to another shop to get the exact tire we needed)! A/C was on the fritz and Mead's was able to get it fixed in a timely manner. Repairs of this kind can be pricey, especially with a truck, but the cost was reasonable. The service personnel were helpful and knowledgeable. The only con, if it's even that, was that they are so popular and busy its hard to find a parking spot!!

Serpentine belt busted on Interstate 10 just outside of East of Vinton. Contacted AAA and a wrecker was on the way. AAA and the wrecker driver recommended Meades in Sulphur. I'm glad to say I still have faith in people. Dropped the truck off, used the night drop box and I received a call in the early afternoon with the news it was ready to go. I was traveling through Sulphur, LA when my van over heated. Long story short, I arrived at Mead's automotive at 7:30 am when they were opening. Rich, at the desk said they were booked all day however, said he would see what they could do. They replaced a hose (which had 4 or 5 other hoses attached). I was out of there by 10:30. Everyone was friendly and while sitting there waiting, Rich's conversations with every other customer was friendly, sincere, knowledgeable, and honest. In October 2017, I needed a transmission installed in my 1993 Buick Road Master. Following some research, I chose to ask Mead's Automotive personnel to do the job. I met and talked with Rich in their office. He and the others there were very friendly, helpful and professional when it came to explaining what must be done and estimating the possible time frame involved. I elected to have a JASPER remanufactured transmission installed and am very happy that I did so. Once the transmission arrived at Mead's Automotive in Sulphur, La. it took only a day or so for me to be able to drive my car home. It has been one month since, and I have driven quite a few miles. I can't feel the transmission shift and am very happy with the JASPER transmission and the work done by Mead's personnel.
